Exhibits, artifacts, photos and records in a century-old company store

The Lubec Historical Society & Museum is housed in the former Columbian Packing Co. store built in the early 1900s. The museum includes:

  • an extensive photography collection, including vintage ships' photographs
  • sailors' log books & fishing gear
  • vintage clothing
  • a complete, 1940s barber shop
  • a model school room
  • photos of early elementary schools
  • high school memorabilia from the late 1800s forward
  • old tools
  • military service records of the men and women of Lubec
